FOX Are The Ones Who Needs New Talent - Buck and McCarver Don't Know Baseball

The only real thing that Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are good for are lulling or should I say dulling a baby to sleep.

These two announcers who cosider themselves to be "analysts" because one used to play ball and one's dad used to be a great announcer, just sound absolutely ridiculous.

Today, during the Yankees vs Red Sox game they had the gall to start to talk about how much more impact the Red Sox farm players have had over the Yankees' up and comers.

They talked about players such as Dustin Pedroia, Jacoby Elsbury and the Boston trio of pitchers in Jon Lester, Justin Masterson and Clay Bucholtz.

Ok, and that compares to the Yankees how? Lets see, the Yankees' Robinson Cano at second, Melky Cabrera in center, Joba Chamberlain, who may the the best up and comer on either team and possibly in the majors. If Phil Hughes and Ian Kennedy have been able to stay healthy this year - which they haven't, much like Bucholtz and Lester last season, their argument would hold absolutely no water.

Hughes pitched with a fractured rib for an unknown period of time while in the very beginning of the season and last season for a few starts showing some lights out stuff. The only one in my mind who has to still show he is what scouts think he is would be Kennedy.

These FOX "analysts," and I use that term extremely loosely failed to mention that the Yankees have brought up some youngster who have done a nice job in the pen such as Jose Veras, Edwar Ramirez and recently, David Robertson.

So, the announcers think they are good enough to become analysts, maybe it is time that FOX looks and sees if they ahve any up and comers and replace these two annoying has beens on the air and bring on someone who will do their job and ANNOUNCE the game.

Time for two wind bags known as Buck and McCarver to let the analyzing be doe by real analysts.
